Format & Rules
1. Teams will play 7 field players + a goalkeeper. If teams have less than 7 field players, it is permissible to play 6 v 6 (if both coaches agree).
2. If a goalkeeper is not present for a team, that team will field an extra field player and an open goal.
3. No corners will be played. 3 corners = 1 shoot out.
● No GK -- a shoot out will be a 1v1 of two players.
3. Games will be 25-minutes. No halftime. 5 minutes between games.
4. The first team listed will wear a light colored pinnie; the second team listed will wear a dark colored pinnie.
5. Please have your team all wear the same color socks. Shin guards and mouthguards are mandatory.
6. Coaches are required to check in at the registration table with their players waivers, and $400 payment prior to their first game. If paying by check please make the check payable to Penfield Field Hockey Booster Club.
Points
● Wins are worth 3 points
● Ties are worth 1 point
● Losses are worth 0 points
Semi Final
Games will be decided by points. If there is a tie for points, we will look at head to head (if teams have played each other) then goals scored for. If needed total goals scored against.
Miscellaneous
Concessions will be open.
Smoothies Plus will have coffee/ice coffee as well as smoothies and such.
Tournament shirts will be available for purchase for $25 with cash or Venmo.
